Our effort towards ITM 2018 is running at full speed. Our present stop right after Iran was Uzbekistan.
We continue our work towards ITM 2018, Turkey's only and world’s one of the largest fair organizations that will host the leaders of textile machinery and will be organized by Tüyap Fair and Congress Center between 14-17 April 2018.
Within the scope of promotion and visitor activities of ITM 2018 Fair -which is currently reaching full occupancy level of more than 90%- we worked intensively in CAITME 2017 11th Textile Machinery Exhibition held in Uzbekistan -Taşkent International Expo Center UZEXPOCENTRE between 13-15 September 2017.
Within our contacts, we have completed preliminary studies on the procurement committee with the officials of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan as well as negotiated with Uzbek officials about Uzbekistan's official and commercial delegations planned to arrive at ITM 2018. Also we held a meeting with the AMBIT (Association of International Business and Technology), which is a member of Uzbek textile investors.
Let us underline that we also met with our Tashkent Ambassador Ahmet Başar ŞEN and informed him about all our work and contacts that we have done during our visit.
In addition to all of these, we successfully delivered the 'ITM everywhere' message to the participants and visitors with the advertisements those we placed on the billboards that dominate all the roads and spaces in the exhibition area as well as our advertisements on the fair catalog and in the newspapers. Additionally we prepared ITM 2018 visitor brochures in Russian.
As a result of all these works we have carried out, we expect a remarkable increase in the number of sector members, investors and visitors coming from Uzbekistan to ITM 2018. One of the reasons for this potential increase is the $ 2.2 billion textile incentive investment provided by the government in Uzbekistan, which we already have a fairly high level of awareness. Uzbek textile companies who are so happy with this incentive are counting days to direct their new investments within ITM 2018 Exhibition.
Based on all these data, we estimate that the number of textile producers and investors to join ITM 2018 from Middle Asia will be tripled compared to ITM 2016.
This exhibition is being organized under control of "The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey", in accordance with the 5174th article of law.
